French Cancan Hairpin
Hairpins have long been a stylish part of our wardrobes. They are tucked into different up-dos or braids to embellish and enhance the lovely tresses of a lady. Their use ranges from practical (to hold the up-do together) to aesthetic, and are sometimes also styled as lapel pins, buttonhole pins, even as a turban pin (kalgi).
One of the most enduring images of this French icon, is of dancers doing the Cancan, bawdily throwing their skirts and legs high up in the air with unmatched energy. This hairpin evokes that very image.
The dancer, in her iconic pose, is meticulously hand-sculpted with a leg up in the air and plumage trailing behind.
The hairpin is vibrant, a little quirky, and a real standout piece. It is perfect to accessorize an outfit for a dressy day out, or pair beautifully with an evening outfit.
The full length of the hairpin is 5.5 inch. The length of the embellished head is 2.25 inch, the width is 1 inch.
The piece is polished and finished to a very high quality standard - we treat each piece like a precious work of art.
Metal - 18Kt Gold plated metal. Nine Vice jewels are all electroplated, to ensure that the plating lasts much longer and does not oxidise easily.

1) Store your Jewellery in the packaging provided. This will protect the metal from moisture that causes tarnishing and keep it safe from accidents/scratches.
2) Avoid direct contact with Perfumes, Lotions, Oils and other sprays. We recommend that the jewel is the last thing you put on.
3) While putting on, if the delicate chains get tangled, please untangle them gently and patiently, otherwise you risk breaking them.
4) To clean and shine it, rub with a soft lint-free cloth
